The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria is devoted to promoting, teaching and learning about all forms of embroidery and textile arts. Founded in 1960, the Embroiderers Guild, Victoria has approximately 1400 members across the state with 12 branches and groups in country regions.
Embroidery House in Malvern provides a friendly centre for classes, talks, meetings, exhibitions and displays. We have an amazing library, regular displays of embroidery and a museum quality collection of traditional and contemporary embroidery.
Our classes, exhibitions and groups cover all kinds of embroidery and textile techniques.
There are special interest groups covering a wide range of embroidery techniques including counted thread work, canvas work, crewel work, lace making, machine embroidery, creative embroidery, patchwork, beading and tassel making, ceremonial embroidery and more.
You don’t have to be a member to visit or attend a class so please pop in as we’d love to meet you!
